There is an application process for a dojo to join Aikido Sansuikai Mexico; practitioners obtain membership by belonging to a member dojo. Aikido Sansuikai Mexico does not interfere in the internal functioning of the dojos, as these are independently managed under the direction of the Chief Instructor and the dojo-cho. Maintaining membership in Aikido Sansuikai Mexico requires acting in accordance with the policies and procedures of Aikido Sansuikai Mexico.

Member dojos have access to an interactive database for tasks such as:

• Maintaining membership records, processing ranks, and posting seminars
• Sharing resources, from children’s class initiatives to insurance recommendations
• Processing annual renewals and adding new members

Communication with instructors is a priority and includes the following:

• Virtual meetings with instructors
• A private portal for Aikido Sansuikai Mexico instructors to stay in touch
• Regular email correspondence
• Instructor meetings held at annual seminars
• An online newsletter that acknowledges members’ contributions, announces new member dojos and dan promotions, and shares messages from the Technical Committee and the latest news from Aikido Sansuikai Mexico.
