We are honored to welcome Shihan Yoko Okamoto, founder and technical director of Aikido Kyoto in Japan. Internationally recognized for her technical clarity, martial sensitivity, and pedagogical approach, her visit is a unique opportunity to deepen our Aikido practice directly from a source of tradition and experience.

Over the course of three days, Shihan Yoko Okamoto will share her vision and understanding of Aikido in an intensive seminar open to practitioners of all levels. This will be a remarkable opportunity to explore the art from a perspective deeply rooted in the teachings of the Aikikai Hombu Dojo and the unique sensibility of Aikido Kyoto.

This seminar is also held in honor of Yoshimitsu Yamada Sensei, one of the direct students of the founder of Aikido. As part of our teacher’s legacy, his students have committed to organizing an annual seminar led by a special guest instructor who, in the spirit of our teacher, will strengthen our ties with Aikikai.

Participation Fee:

• $80 USD per person for the 3-day seminar. (valid until June 30 or until tickets are sold out) PAY SEMINAR FEE
• $25 USD per person for the buffet dinner with Shihan Okamoto and seminar participants on Saturday, October 11 at 8:30 PM.  BUFFET DINNER
